Chicopee, MA - Brian R. Plasse, age 57, a life-long Chicopee, Massachusetts resident, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2022.
He was born on July 3, 1965, a son of Maurice and Janet (Fournier) Plasse. Brian, a special needs gentleman, was “special” to everyone who knew him. He had a great sense of humor, greeted everyone with “Hi Turkey!” He loved music and all sorts of comedy, including The Three Stooges, and was a fan of everything “Batman.” Brian enjoyed being with family, especially at holidays and picnics, and being outdoors. All he wanted in life was a good cup of coffee.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his siblings: Marsha (Plasse) Burek and her husband Peter, Laurie (Plasse) Rucki and her husband Alex, Jemmie Plasse and his wife Debra, and Steven Plasse. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. We wish to give thanks to his caretakers, the Anzeze family. The family would also like to thank the Baystate Medical staff who participated in his care. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 10AM at Ste. Rose de Lima Catholic Church, 600 Grattan Street, Chicopee, MA. Burial will follow in Ste. Rose de Lima Cemetery.
