Brenda J. Anderson

Brenda (Smith) Anderson passed away peacefully on Jan. 1, 2024 at the age of 81. Born in Independence, Missouri on May 29, 1942 to the late Russell and Christine Smith, Brenda married her high school sweetheart, the late Earl Anderson Jr. and together they raised their family in East Longmeadow. In her retirement, Brenda restored the historic Bristol Inn in Bristol, Maine where she and Earl were innkeeper/owners for 14 years. Brenda loved shopping, traveling, eating out, gardening, her dogs and being with her friends and family. Brenda leaves behind her daughters, Joyce (David) Pierangelo of Wilbraham, Christie Pezzetta of East Longmeadow, and Pamela (Will) Raymond of East Longmeadow and her sisters Mary (Frank) Lemos of Melrose and Cindy Vachon (Diane Dobson) of Lori’s, SC. Brenda was most proud of her grandchildren Aurora, Sam, Isabella, Megan, Nick and Andy and loved her great-grandchildren Evelyn, Oliver, Eloise and Delilah. She also leaves many treasured friends at Brownstone Gardens. A memorial for Brenda will be held at Wilbraham United Church located at 500 Main Street, Wilbraham, MA on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 10:00am. A private inurnment will be held at Hillcrest Park Cemetery. The family would like to thank the Mercy LIFE Pace program as well as Vantage Health and Rehab Wilbraham for taking such incredible care of Brenda over the past two years.
