Leger
Nov 27, 1930 — Oct 24, 2026
Bernard F. Leger, of Ludlow, Massachusetts, was born in Springfield, Massachusetts, on November 27, 1930.
Bernie is survived by his beloved wife of 73 years, Eleanor. He was predeceased by his son, Mark. He is survived by his sisters, Jean and Carol and his nephews, John, Rory and Michael.
A beloved member of the Ludlow Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, Bernie was primarily known for his deep devotion to his faith and for sharing the Bible's message of hope with others. His dedication to Bible education was unwavering, and he continued this meaningful work until the very last week of his life.
Bernie was also a well-respected member of the Ludlow community. He was a business owner of a manufacturing company in Michigan and waste management companies in Massachusetts.
He will be remembered for his strong faith, his dedication to Bible education, and his devotion to his wife and the congregation. Bernie will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Eleanor, his family, his spiritual brothers and sisters, his friends, and his neighbors. We look forward with confidence to the time when we will see Bernie again, restored to perfect health in the promised Paradise on earth, where suffering and death will be no more.
