Bernard G. Brunelle

CHICOPEE – Bernard G. Brunelle, 71, passed away at home on July 30, 2016. Born on March 11, 1945, to the late Leon and Alice (Bernard) Brunelle, he was a lifelong Chicopee resident and the owner of Triple B Towing in Chicopee.
He leaves his loving wife of 45 years Bonita Brunelle; daughter Brigitte Brunelle and her husband Thomas O’Connor of Washington, DC; brother Bill Brunelle and his wife Gail of Agawam; sister-in-law Lois Allen and her husband Steve of Chicopee; brothers-in-law Jerry Meehan of OR and Denny Meehan of IL and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Bernie’s caregivers especially Dr. Arthur Krulewitz, Dr. John Landis, Dr. Daniel Landry, Dr. Richard Steingart, Dr. Walter Wolf, Sheila Shoemaker, N.P. and the palliative care nurses at Baystate VNA AND Hospice.
Private funeral services will be held on August 15, 2016 with burial in the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Bernie’s name may be made to Baystate VNA and Hospice or D’Amour Cancer Center c/o Baystate Health Foundation 280 Chestnut Street, Springfield, MA 01199.
