Bernard Charles Balise

Bernard Charles Balise, of Springfield, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at home on May 6, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on December 26, 1937, in the town of Amherst, Massachusetts to the late Blanche Balise. Bernard will be remembered for his dedication and compassionate care as a Registered Nurse at Baystate Medical Center. He also enjoyed his time as a dog show judge. Bernard was sadly predeceased by his life partner of 46 years Joseph J. Matarazzo, Jr., and his son, Robin Balise and his twin brother, James Balise. He is survived by his niece Angela Balise of Bantam, CT and his great-niece Amber Balise. Services will be private.
