Sheffield - Arthur K. Rooney, 59, a thirty-year Sheffield resident, passed away suddenly on Friday, May 11, 2018.
He was born on June 9, 1958, a son of the late Donald and Frances (Pikul) Rooney.
He grew up in Thorndike and attended local schools. He started his career as a cook and then became a HVAC technician. Art enjoyed fishing, movies and travel.
He is survived by his sisters, Marjorie Allen of Wales and Beverly Rooney of Thorndike. He also leaves two nephews, Devon Prouty and Travis Galica, aunts June and Millie, best friend Stephanie, and many extended family members and friends.
He was predeceased by his much missed brother Donald F. Rooney in 2011 with whom he will be buried in Four Corners Cemetery in Palmer.
