Arthur E. Lamagdeleine

Chicopee – Arthur E. Lamagdeleine, 73, a lifelong Chicopee resident, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center.
He was born on November 19, 1944, a son of the late Robert and Lucille (Cliché) Lamagdeleine.
Arthur was a machinist at Emhart Industries from where he retired. He enjoyed spending time with his beloved grandchildren, bowling, camping and traveling. He and his wife Lena vacationed in Fort Lauderdale, FL for more than twenty years. He was a twenty-nine year member of the Lost and Found AA group in Chicopee.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Lena (Sydlik) Lamagdeleine, two daughters, Leemarie Stelzer (Gene) of NH, and Karin Shatos (Peter) of Agawam, and his sister Linda Poirier of Chicopee. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Kristopher, Lyle and Emma, and one great-grandson Emmett. He was predeceased by his brother Leo Lamagdeleine.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 11am at First Central Bible Church, 50 Broadway, Chicopee, MA with the Reverend Jack Gilbert officiating.
