Andrew Lee Woods, Jr., 52, of Springfield, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026, at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

Born on October 20, 1973, Andrew was the beloved son of Andrew Lee Woods, Sr. and the late Pattie (Goodwin) Woods.

Andrew worked as an NPI Inspector in the aviation industry and was respected for his precision and strong work ethic.

He did not seek the spotlight, but his presence was deeply felt by those who knew him well. He loved sincerely, supported those close to him, and had a deep capacity for empathy, often feeling the weight of what others were going through.

He leaves behind his father, Andrew Lee Woods, Sr.; his sister, Katisha Woods Johnson (Rodrick); his brother, Malachi Woods; and his children, Keshawn Swinton, Diamond Woods, and Avarey Woods.

He also leaves behind his longtime partner, Elizabeth Montes, whose love and devotion surrounded him through life’s challenges and brought him comfort and peace.

Andrew’s life and legacy will live on through the many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends whom he touched and who will cherish his memory.

A celebration of Andrew’s life will be held at Springfield Grace Community Baptist Church, 1791 Wilbraham Road, Springfield, MA, on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
