Springfield – Andres Santiago, 65, beloved husband of Jesusa Martinez Santiago, passed away on November 18, 2018 at Baystate Medical Center.
A forty-eight year Springfield resident, he was born in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico on February 26, 1953, the son of the late Juan Santiago-Reyes, who passed away on November 19, 2018 and the late Angelina (Sanchez) Santiago.
He is survived by two sons, David A. Santiago (Carmen Navarro) of Chicopee, and Erik Santiago (Maria DeLeon Santiago) of CT, his daughter, Cindy Santiago (Easton Coffie) of Springfield, his brothers, Benjamin Santiago (Ana Arce) and Ambrosio Santiago (Brunilda), both of Springfield, Domingo Santiago of Rhode Island, and his sister Marisol Curbelo (Victor) of Springfield. He will be sadly missed by twelve grandchildren: Nazhawn, Nevaeh, Jianni, Steven, Daniel, Brandon, Izaiah, Emmanuel, Yanaira, Valentin, Javien, Jayshawn, and one great grandson Jaiden.
The wakes for both father and son, Juan and Andres, will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 6-8 PM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC, 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA.
The family wishes to honor father and son for funeral services on Friday, November 30, 2018 at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC. We will begin with a gathering at 10 AM for a service for Andres, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial for Juan at 12 Noon at Blessed Sacrament Church, 440 Waverly Street, Springfield, MA.
