SPRINGFIELD-Ana Maria Gonzalez died December 19 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico on March 21, 1933 to the late Basilio Gonzalez and Eleuteria (Fernandez) Gonzalez, she was the owner of Aguada Driving School in Puerto Rico, and the first female instructor of a driving school there. She was devoted to her Christian church and her family. She leaves her daughter, Juana Massa, of Springfield; son, Jose Pagan, of Puerto Rico; brothers and sisters: Maria Torres and her husband, Jesus, Veneda Bigelow, Angel and his wife, Barbara, and Miguel all of Westfield; Felicita Valentin and her husband, Iran, of Puerto Rico; 8 grandchildren: Ana Maria, Maribel, Andy, Marcelino, Jose, Angel, Ciara and Cyndia; 12 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. The funeral will be on Wednesday, December 22 at 12:30 PM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA, with burial to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
