Alice I. Serra

SPRINGFIELD-Alice I. Serra, 76, passed away April 17, 2012. Born in Springfield, MA on March 17, 1936 to the late Akim and Alice (Timacusk) Mironowich, she had worked in the office at Springfield Plumbing Supply. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Predeceased by her parents and sisters, Ann Lynch and Lillian Sydlo, she leaves her husband, John J. Serra; children: Edward and Anthony Serra of Springfield, MA, Ross Serra of Ware, MA, Joseph Serra and his wife, Rose, of Wales, MA and Karen Dorn and her husband, Robert, of Deltona, FL; grandchildren: Marcy, Matthew, Mitchell, Michael, Gregory, William and Joseph and nine great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday at 8:00 AM at New England Funeral & Cremation Center, LLC 25 Mill Street, Springfield, MA proceeding at 8:30 AM to the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery for a 9:00 AM service.
